Privacy Policy

Short version: the only personal information here is what you type into a form, and the only reason it exists is to do the thing you asked for.

What we collect

Two forms on this site collect anything at all.

The quote form takes a phone number and your name, plus what you are asking for: the unit type, how many, the kind of job, how long you need it, and a line for when and where. The town and the company page you were on go with it.

The claim form takes a business name, a contact name, a phone number, an email address, and the business details you choose to send: website, service area, units, and whatever corrections you write in.

We do not ask for an address, a card, a date of birth or anything else, and there is no account to create. Nothing on this site is behind a sign-in.

What happens to it

A quote request is passed to porta potty companies serving that town so they can call you back. That is the point of the form. No company pays to receive one and no company pays to receive more of them.

A claim is read by a person, used to correct the listing, and kept so we know who confirmed what and when. The listing then says the details were confirmed by the owner. We publish the business details you send; we do not publish your personal contact details.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not pass it to anyone except as described above.

What the site does without asking

Analytics. Google Analytics, to count visits and see which pages get used. It sets its own cookies and Google processes that data under its own terms.

Form handling. Forms are processed by Netlify, who host this site, and submissions sit in their dashboard.

Maps. Company pages embed a Google map. Loading one tells Google you did.

One browser setting. If you dismiss the bar at the bottom of the page, that is remembered in your own browser's storage. It never leaves your device and it is not a tracker.

No advertising network runs on this site and nothing here is retargeted.

Having it deleted

Email hello@portapottyfinder.com and ask. We will delete what we hold and confirm it. You do not have to explain why, and it does not matter where you live — the same answer applies to everyone.

Children

This site is for people renting portable toilets. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If what we collect or where it goes changes, this page changes with it.

Questions go to hello@portapottyfinder.com and reach Ryan Muniak.
